Admitted to the Kenyan Bar in 1991, she holds an LLB from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Her distinguished career includes serving in the private and corporate sectors as a Senior Legal Officer before going into full time practice under the firm Wanjiku Maina & Co. Advocates.
